Ribs N' Raffle
Fund-raising dinner for St. Basil's School at Beach Haven Event Center. Starts at 6:30pm. The theme this year is "It's All Here In Black and White".

Artist in Transition Exhibit
Located at the South Haven Center of the Arts.The days between mean a number of things including the long anticipated, “Artist in Transition Exhibit” The Artist in Transition is an exhibit the middle school and high school area art students look forward to every year. It is a chance to see their works hung professionally in a gallery setting. It is also a juried show where the students not only gain recognition for their work, but also receive a prize. This exhibit is a part of the South Haven Center for the Arts' (South Haven Center for the Arts 637-1041) Opening Reception is at April 10, 1-4pm.
Beach Party Benefit Auction
Held at 4-17-10 at 6pm.Come out & support these great causes in the South Haven area--Habitat, Samaritan Counseling Center & 1st Cong. Church Youth Ministry. There will be heavy appetizers, cash bar, raffle items, live & silent auction, etc. Located at Ciao Catering Ctr. 7379 Shore Dr-N.
Artist’s Market:
Times 10-4pm and at South Haven Center for the Arts. Contact the number at 269-637-1041. Think of it like a Farmer's Market for Artists and Crafters - help support local artists! Table space $20 - register by April 14. Admission: Free and open to the public!
Heywood Banks:
Held at the Foundry Hall at 7pm on Saturday come enjoy an intimate evening of Comedy, Slapstick and Song with Heywood Banks. Heywood Banks is simply one-of-a-kind, almost impossible to describe, with a style his very own. Equal parts genius and buffoon, this songwriter-comic-singer- poet-musician has become a cult hero and a pop icon, with a show that appeals to college students, stoners, businessmen, yuppies, rednecks, punks, kids or your grandmother. Featured in Rolling Stone and People Magazines, Heywood has appeared on MTV, A&E, CNN, Entertainment Tonight and the Bob & Tom in the Morning syndicated radio show. Celebration of Life
Sunday, April 18 held at 3:00 pm in Peace Lutheran Church located on 6321 Blue Star Memorial Hwy, South Haven Twice each year, Hospice at Home offers community Celebration of Life services. These services honor patients and families served by the organization, as well as community members who have died in the previous six months. These non-denominational programs are open to the public with a simple reception following the service. “Our Celebration of Life services give our families and the community a special way to remember their loved ones,” states Lisa Bartoszek, Director of Bereavement Services at Hospice at Home and Director of Lory’s Place. “Patients are honored, as friends and families are welcome to bring memory items and share unique stories about their loved ones. We welcome anyone to join us and participate in this very meaningful event to celebrate and remember loved ones."
